'Per Sara: Community Nurseries for Landscape Regeneration
'Per Sara
Managed under local primary cooperatives, ‘Per Sara (Community Nurseries) serve as the biological engines of landscape restoration across the region.
01
Cultivating Ficus elastica
Nurseries propagate and nurture young rubber fig saplings, providing the vital living material needed to extend existing root bridges or initiate new river crossings.
02
Native Reforestation
‘Per Sara cultivates indigenous forest trees, medicinal plants, soil-binding flora, and native wild orchids to restore degraded forest buffers and sacred groves.
03
Women-Led Green Economies
Many nurseries are operated by local women, creating steady employment while restoring regional biodiversity.
